Modern Elopement at The Five Oaks Farm in portland, Or

Full-service elopement planning, what the heck does this mean? Isn't "planning" and "elopement" sort of an oxymoron? Not anymore. The modern elopement has redefined the old use of the word. Less courthouse, more intimate, mountaintop moments. Less spontaneity, more intimate celebrations accompanied by intentional details. The modern elopement appeals to couples that want to opt out of tradition, + include only the details that are important to them. Portland has become a top destination for elopements because we have it all-- lush forests, jaw-dropping mountain tops, small modern venues, the best food, all you need for a staple PNW elopement.

Introducing, full-service elopement planning. A service for the modern day elopement couple. The couple that wants an intimate celebration, filled with design elements that reflect their story. This is where we come in. Our favorite part of dreaming up designs is learning what makes our couples unique, pieces of their story that could be overlooked, and choosing to showcase them. This is what is especially sweet about intimate weddings + elopements-- every little detail gets to play a role in telling your story.

For us, styled shoots are no different. So when dreaming up this shoot, it began with a narrative. Beauty is brought to life with context. Not just a tablescape, but a place where people gathered to celebrate. A place where THESE people celebrated. These stories-- your stories--bring life to our designs. This shoot was designed and styled (with the help of our dream team) to be a jaw dropper, yes, but also curated to have the sweet moments that come with eloping.

Want to elope? We want to create the most special day for you + yours!

As the story went, this sweet couple took the morning to be with each other + get ready together in the honeymoon suite at the The Five Oaks Farm, just south of Portland. They then took advantage of the nearby Champoeg State Park to share their personal vows, just the two of them, in the serene moss covered trees. They then basked in those "just married" feels with an intimate picnic + of coarse, lots of Union Wine Company and soon their closest friends showed up for the bonfire afterparty, complete with a custom bar + cocktails.

While Justin couldn't be persuaded into making this shoot a surprise wedding, he did end up proposing later that weekend + we cannot be more excited for their wedding!

The icing on the cake was ending the day with our dream team gathered around the bonfire cracking open some canned wine! Cheers to a job well done, gang.
